What Ethan Can Do: Seven Months Old!

Seven months and here is how Ethan spends his time!

Ethan's latest things:
  • Sitting up on his own and able to bend over and lean from side to side
  • Eating lots of fruits and vegetables. So far he's eaten bananas, apples, avocado, sweet potatoes, peas, green beans, yogurt, and oatmeal.
  • Flails his arms when sitting up like a helicopter
  • Grabs at things
  • Pulls on my hair and strokes my necklace when nursing
  • Cuddles with his bunny
  • Gives what seems like mini kisses. He grabs my face and pulls it in.
  • When he doesn't like lying down anymore, he arches his back and whines.
  • Enjoys peekaboo!
  • LOVES singing and smiles when he hears familiar songs. When we sing "When You're Happy and You Know It," he pats his legs.
  • Rolls over on his own, but still sleeps relatively in the same spot.
  • High pitch squeals are now the norm!
  • We tried giving him a pacifier that was a size up (3-6 months) and he SCREAMED. Literally, he refused to take it! Punk.
  • Slams toys onto his highchair tray
  • Squirms and whines when he doesn't want something OR if we aren't feeding him quickly enough
