We went to Staten Island on Sunday for Jake's christening! It was also Ethan's first trip to the cemetery to visit Grandma Babs! Ethan slept for 1 1/2 hours on the car ride there and missed the entire church affair; however, he was the life of the party at the dinner following the actual christening! Michael and I were not prepared and for whatever reason did not think to bring a stroller. I did however bring the Ergo. Was I really planning on strapping it on with a dress and heels?!?! Anyway, Alison had her stroller in the car so we put the little man in it and he napped, chatted, and relaxed as we ate! When it was our table's turn to get up and get our food, it took everything in me to not wheel him to the buffet line with us. New mom syndrome caused me to look over a million times and of course, he was fine and slept the entire time! His seersucker jacket is just my favorite and the little Converse?!? Whoever said that dressing a boy wasn't fun!
