Happy half birthday, E!

I cannot believe that six months have gone by! Every day he makes our world with his infectious smiles and giggles! Truly, he makes me feel like I am the funniest, coolest mom around. I'll treasure these moments!

Ethan's latest things:

• Huge smiles to us each time he sees us
• Craning his neck to make sure that I'm in his sight
• Moving things from hand to hand
• Focusing on things for longer amounts of time!
• Lots of babbling--his latest is waking up at random times and then just talking to himself! He also seems to have found his squeal.
• Wobbly sitting, but getting more and more stable by the day
• Doing the stand up/sit down motion while on our lap! He seems to like proving that he's strong!
• Enjoying solids! Michael is a master at feeding him! I am so excited for his six month appointment to start feeding him more!
• Grabbing my face/hair/nose and trying to put it into his mouth. I like to pretend like he's giving me a kiss. He tends to be a bit aggressive so I have to tell him to "be nice, Ethan."
• He's still not rolling over on his own, but seems to have mastered crossing his leg over the other. He still gives a huge smile once he's rolled over (even with assistance) as if he's proud of himself.
