At eight months, Ethan is doing the following:
- He has one tooth on bottom and two coming in slowly on top. He is starting to understand what it means to chew!
- He is eating three meals a day of solids--mostly pureed fruits and vegetables, but we are starting to combine varoius things together! I have started with puffs and will kick off with the teething biscuits as well!
- He is sitting up straight and starting to rock back and forth. A few times he has rocked himself to his side or to the front. Crawling seems like it is just around the corner.
- Putting EVERYTHING into his mouth--from books to toys to his hands to my hands, that is his favorite pasttime.
- Making lots of different sounds. Still no full-on Dada or Mama, but gurgling and squealing!
- He is king cuddler. He loves sleeping right next to us and loves to be nuzzled into mom or dad.
- He loves dancing to music--from dad whipping him around the room to me being silly, it has been a fun routine for all of us!
- His giggles are the best. He does it at the littlest thing, but lately, they have gotten longer!
- Tummy sleeping is his favorite. I am still too chicken to do it at night, but Ingrid has hjim like that during the day and it works like a charm!
