Adventures in Babysitting

Today Deb took Ethan to his first playdate. Now normally, we just meet up with everyone at a bar or cafe, but this was the first organized playdate of the October crew. I had no idea what to expect, but clearly should have warned Deb about the intensity of some of the PS moms. Many of the moms at this playdate were not the moms that I had hung out with during my leave, but thought it would be nice for the babies to meet each other. Basically, Deb/Ethan arrived and everyone was sitting around in a circle. Apparently, Ethan decided to take the biggest crap imaginable and when the room was quiet he let out the largest fart and made it apparent that he had gone to the bathroom. I guess he broke the ice, but not a good way to get tail buddy...We'll have to teach you a thing or two about timing. During his first playgroup, he ate, passed out, played one the activity mat, and observed all around him! Deb and Jaime connected so hopefully Ethan and Ben can have some playdates as well!
