As I get older, I truly treasure the friends that I have met through various stages. Jaime and I met in C&T 5000 back in 2004, the first class from hell that kicked off our doctoral studies! We bonded through readings, bad TAs, and nightmare papers through that first year and continued our friendship over the years to follow! We edited dissertation drafts together and commiserated on the bureaucracy of everything! At the end of the day, we were at each other's weddings and we graduated together as well! It was quite the coincidence that we also ended up getting pregnant around the same time. She was scheduled to give birth a month before me, but as things turned out, Ethan was born a day ahead of her little Benjamin! Ben also has a full head of hair (even more than Ethan!) and is such a little cutiepie! It has been so nice to see Jaime more regularly and to share stories on sleep training, pooping, eating, and the joys of parenthood. So happy that Ethan will have so many great friends to grow up with!
