Tracking Data: Inputs and Outputs

As many of you know, I used to be obsessed with tracking data of student achievement. I still am, but for the past two months my days have been spent tracking data of inputs and outputs if you know what I mean. Ethan went two days without pooping and of course I was freaking out despite the fact that they say it is normal. He was, however, farting like a champ. It sounded and smelled like a grown man. Michael and I are incredibly pathetic since it makes us laugh every time. Anyway, since he seemed to be straining a bit, I did a little Google searching for how to make him feel better. We did a little infant massage and wala! It totally did the trick! I wanted to take a picture of the aftermath, but thought I'd spare Ethan that embarrassment. I thought that his poop looked like soft-serve seedy ice cream before, but this time, he was literally a soft serve ice cream machine. It just kept coming and coming and coming. I felt so incredibly satisfied for him and he was in an even better mood post the event. Now we have to wait a few more days for the next round...

Here he is basking in his glory...with a fully rounded out face. Touchdown!
