After a few days of it literally hanging by a thread, today Ethan hit a new milestone and his belly button fell off. Michael and I celebrated by placing it in a baggie and keeping it in his Brooklyn Dodgers tin on his dresser. I'm sure he'll be disgusted by us in a few years, but we were thrilled to see him grow up (and even happier that it's not yet another thing to worry about cleaning on his little body.)
