We are the luckiest family in the world because our sister Deb is going to be our nanny for the first few months when I go back to work! She'll be taking us through the end of the school year which will make going back to work that much easier knowing that Ethan has someone taking care of him who loves him so much! Ethan totally loves her--he has already laughed with her, slept on her, taken the bottle with her, and Deb has gotten to know our routine. She is also going to help us break some bad daytime sleeping habits. For whatever reason, during the day, Ethan has only been sleeping in the carrier, stroller, or on the boppy on my lap. Awesome. Now that he has transitioned well into the crib at night, we are hoping to do the same with naps! Maybe he's like me and just doesn't want to miss anything and sleeping on someone's lap just feels cozier.
We ordered BBQ last night and gave little E a bath! Good to have C&D here again!
