Amazing to be at work today! Staff had decorated my office with pictures of Ethan, funny little post-its, witty posters, lights, and balloons! It was such a happy way to be welcomed back at work and totally brought tears to my eyes! Today was so nice to see the students--there is something so refreshing about high schoolers. It felt like I hadn't even left. From college acceptance letters to helping our 9th graders successfully transition to academic/behavioral expectations in high school, there are big things to focus on this year! So excited to get back into it!
