I swear that Ethan now knows what a camera is. When I hold up my iPhone to take photos, he will stare at it. Sometimes he smiles, but often he gets his serious face on and is completely still. When I try to videotape him, he often stops what he is doing and becomes mute. The laughs, smiles, and coos stop and he is instead focused on the black and white case. In these pictures, Ethan was completely focused on the camera. He is so much more alert and able to focus on things around him. Today, I turned the camera fully on him so that he could see his reflection and he was completely in awe. It is totally magical to watch the world unfold for him.
