A Weekly Appointment at the Beer Garden

I could definitely get used to this! It was so nice to get the group together at the beer garden a block from our apartment! There were ultimately about 20 moms there with their little ones and we have decided to make this a standing weekly appointment (along with the cafes!). I cannot wait to watch all of these October babies all grow up together! It is so nice to have met such interesting people--makes me appreciate living in Park Slope. Despite the smaller living quarters, I cannot imagine being anywhere else (at least not for right now).

I know that many bar owners don't want moms and babies in their bars, but I have to say, I think they should be thankful for my 34 year old self vs. my 24 year old self. At least now it's only the babies who are throwing up...
