I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing it has been to be home with Ethan and to get to know his likes/dislikes and to watch him grow and change on a daily basis. That being said, there are definite times when I am really missing UCHS. Today, Christine sent me a picture of the "presidential debate" between Lamont and Justin and I got a little teary. Yes, I am more emotional now (surprise, surprise!), but I have grown to love the students and staff so much and as scary and hard as it will be to go back and leave Ethan, I really am looking forward to seeing everyone. Clearly, I don't want to wish the next few weeks away, but I feel incredibly lucky when so many moms I meet up with talk about how they dread going back and I can honestly say that my job is the best job ever and that I work with the most incredible team of people who push me on a daily basis.
UCHS won the Blackboard Award and it was really exciting to see the hard work of our entire team recognized and celebrated! Hard to believe that our 28 babies will be graduating in June!
